The walk at Talking Brook Public Land was enjoyed by 17 hikers and one dog. The trail was lined with newly emerging fiddleheads and the water was flowing briskly in the brook. Stuart and Lee also led us along a private path behind their summer camp and we emerged at the Norumbega Chapel trail.
Our next walk will take us to Pineland Public Reserved Land. We will not be meeting at our regular parking area on Depot Road. We are going off the beaten path to explore a trail located on Town Farm Road (Gray) between George Perley Lane and Davis Williams Road. Park along the roadside on Town Farm Road, just down from the George Perley house (8 George Perley Road). We hope you can join us Wednesday, May 8th at 10 a.m.
