We went off the beaten path and explored an old logging road just off of Town Farm Road in Gray and adjacent to the Pineland Public Reserved Land. The walk took us through mixed forest and abundant ferns where we came to a high ridge looking out across to the Royal River flowing below.
Our next walk will take us to the west side of Talking Brook Public Lands, the trailhead is at the end of Woodman Road in New Gloucester. FMI visit Talking Brook Public Land
