Re: Remote School Day on Friday, 12/9/22
We have an exceptionally high number of employees absent for illness. We expect the number to increase tomorrow. All MSAD 15 schools will have a Remote School Day on Friday, December 9, 2022.
The plan for Friday is:
— All students will learn through remote instruction on Friday. Specific information about synchronous schedules will follow from school principals today.
— Teachers and Education Technicians have the option of teaching from home or school.
— School breakfast and lunches are available for pick up from 9:00-12:00. Families can pick up meals at any of MSAD 15’s five schools. To sign up for a meal pick-up, please use this link: REMOTE MEAL SIGN UP FOR FRIDAY, 12/9/2022
— Gray-New Gloucester High School Winter Concert will be held as scheduled.
— Gray-New Gloucester High School games will proceed as scheduled. Practices are cancelled for Friday.
— Gray-New Gloucester Middle School’s Fifth and Sixth Grade Social is postponed to January; details to follow.
— Memorial School’s fluoride clinic will be rescheduled; details to follow.
— PATHS students may still attend PATHS with their own transportation. PATHS will also offer a remote option for those students who do not participate in-person. Ms. Grealish will send an e-mail with details.
We aim to keep schools open for in-person as much as possible. Staff and students can help usstay open for in-person instruction by practicing illness prevention measures, including:
- Stay home if you are ill.
- Wash your hands frequently.
- Avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes.
- Wear a mask if you are recovering from or developing an illness.
