A man in New Gloucester says he has a plan to keep the bear at bay in his yard now
You have heard of a bird’s-eye view, but what about a bear’s-eye view?
Bears are very active in Maine, and a man from New Gloucester has the video to prove it after a black bear walked off with his camera.
Jeff Meissner says he noticed his bird feeders were torn down and missing Tuesday morning.
When he checked the video from his bird feeder camera that he uses to watch birds, he discovered a bear had been at his house eating the sunflower seeds Monday night, but the bear didn’t stop there.
The bear then tore the camera off the post and carried it away in its mouth, with the camera still recording.
The video shows the bear’s huge claws and snout before it walks off with the camera.
The feeders are now back in place, and Meissner says he has a plan.
