Nine of us walked the Shaker Bog trail. We found the heat bearable under the tree canopy and with the slight breeze from the bog. The trail has multiple trees across the path but it was maneuverable for all of us. It’s a quiet location where we saw two loons.
We will walk one of the trails at Pineland Farms on Wednesday, July 24th, 10 a.m. Please meet at the parking lot area near the Conference Center, Building #19 on the map – brick building facing Route 231/Intervale Road. Check out the Pineland Farms campus map for details.
Once again, we will be in the woods so come prepared for the weather and walking conditions.
