Howard (“Mick”) Mikkelsen died at age 89 on Sept. 30, 2022 at St. Joseph’s in Portland, Maine. He was born Oct. 3, 1932 in Lewiston, Maine
He is survived by his wife Patti Candage Mikkelsen, sisters-in-law Pamela Ames and Paula Candage, father-in-law “Choppy” Candage; pre-deceased by his parents Vesta and Niels Mikkelsen.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, 9 Waites Landing Road, Falmouth, 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. Those who wish may make a contribution in Mick’s memory to: Poland Spring Preservation Society, 37 Preservation Way, Poland, ME 04274.
