Noted musician Alice Limoges at Norumbega Cidery Sat. June 24

Alice Limoges

Norumbega Cidery is excited to welcome Alice Limoges to the tasting lawn on Saturday, June 24. With a voice reminiscent of a young Fiona Apple, Alice possesses a powerful, strong voice with the heart and soul of a classic folk troubadour.

She is joined by jazz guitarist Bill Barnes, who opens up genres such as jazz, soul, and rock as well as adding sparkle and support to Alice’s originals.

“As a songwriter, Limoges brings to mind something akin to a softer-edged Fiona Apple, or a harder-edged Sarah McLachlan—awfully, awfully pretty, but with a flair for the dramatic that creeps in on nearly every song.” Bangor Daily News.

Alice has performed extensively across the Northeast, including festivals and other legendary venues such as The Cutting Room and Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, Club Passim in Boston, and Blue in Portland.

The Cidery will be open June 24 from noon to 5 p.m., with this special music performance with Alice Limoges from 1 to 3:30 pm. The Cidery is located at 380 Woodman Road in New Gloucester.

Can’t make it that day? Norumbega Cidery hosts live music the last Saturday of the month and hosts the Big Falls Music and Cider Fest on September 9. We are also open every weekend from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, visit norumbegacidery.com
