An application for a medical cannabis grow facility at 934 Lewiston Road (Route 100) is on the Planning Board’s October 18 agenda. Owner Scott Rogers of Longmont, Colorado, wants to convert a 1,800 sq. ft residence into a cannabis grow facility. The property is in the Residential B-1 district (Map 18 Lot 20).

The Planning Board has previously reviewed built-from-scratch grow facilities; this conversion application appears to be a first. According to a memo to the board from Town Planner Natalie Thomsen, Scott Rogers will attend and discuss his plans for odor control and any other concerns. The board is likely to schedule a public hearing once it deems Rogers’s application complete.

The October 18 meeting begins at 7 pm in the Meetinghouse and will be broadcast on local cable and live-streamed on Town Hall Streams at this link. For information about the Planning Board and its work, check the Planning Board page at this link.
