First NGFR unit on scene: Engine 3
General Incident Description: At 0932hrs, Cumberland County RCC transmitted a desk box for a reported garage fire. Engine 3 went enroute with a crew of 4 at 0932. While enroute, CCRCC said multiple callers reporting a fully involved garage fire. Engine 3 asked for the box to be upgraded to an All Hands, bringing in additional resources and station coverage.
Gray Car 1 arrived on scene first, establishing command. Engine 3 arrived on scene shortly after along with Gray Truck 44 at 0939. Engine 3 deployed two hand lines, one to attack a well involved garage fire and another to protect the house as an exposure. With aggressive firefighting, first arriving companies were able to stop the fire from spreading to the house. Companies operating on scene quickly knocked the fire down. Companies worked for about an hour after knockdown mopping up and hitting hot spots. Companies cleared and returned to the station just after 1100hrs.

Cause: Undetermined
PSA: Mutual Aid works and works well. Due to the location of this fire, multiple departments were able to arrive nearly simultaneously and commence work with adequate manpower and water supply.
