What roads make you feel unsafe? Join a community workshop on Wed. Nov. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Gray Public Library to share your insights!
Vision Zero is a global strategy to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries by changing the way we design our roads. The Greater Portland Council of Governments, a regional planning agency, is working to create a Vision Zero Action Plan for the towns of Bridgton, Casco, Chebeague Island, Durham, Frye Island, Gray, Harrison, Long Island, Naples, New Gloucester, Pownal, and Sebago. The action plan will outline effective transportation safety measures.
If you live, work, or play in one these communities, then these workshops are for you! The workshop will start with a short presentation, but feel free to drop in throughout to participate in activities and learn more about this project. For more information, visit www.VisionZeroGreaterPortland.org
