William Neal Cooper, 76

William Neal Cooper of Brooksville, Florida formerly of New Gloucester, passed away September 3rd with his wife Cathy by his side after a period of failing health and contracting Covid, he was 76.

“Bill” was born in Springfield, Vermont on August 22, 1945. He attended college at Franklin Pierce and received his Masters Degree in business from Antioch New England in Keene, New Hampshire

He was the town manager in Farmington, New Hampshire before coming to the Town of  New Gloucester. His proudest and greatest achievement was the position he held as the town manager for the Town of New Gloucester from 1990 – 2003.  He had many fond memories of serving the people of the town.

He was predeceased by his parents and son Christopher. He is survived by his wife Catherine “Cathy” Cooper of Brooksville, Fl., brother Richard Cooper and family and several nieces and nephews. 

A private burial was held in Vermont.
