Woodman Road gave us an easy almost 2-mile walk. We heard birds in the marsh and enjoyed stories about the history of the road and neighborhood from some of the local walkers.
With this weekend’s snowstorm, we will have to stay on another local road this week. Tobey Road will provide us a 2-mile trek with some ups and downs.
Let’s meet on March 27th at 10 a.m. at 301 Tobey Road, New Gloucester. We can park along the side of the road and, after we gather, cross Bald Hill Road and head down Tobey Road towards Cider Mill Road. Tobey Road is on the Transfer Station side of town and won’t have much traffic.
Please dress for the weather and walking conditions on a dirt road.
