A large contingent of walkers hiked the Big Falls Trail last Wednesday and were treated to beautiful green foliage budding in the woods as well as lots of water flowing over the Big Falls. We really enjoyed a lovely spring trek with no black flies (yet) and good temperatures.
Our next walk on Wednesday, May 17th, at 10 am will be at the Talking Brook Public Land which is at the end of Woodman Road, New Gloucester (same parking location as last week). Directions and a limited description can be found at here on the Trails, Trailhead, and Accessibility section.
Come prepared for walking on an uneven trail surface and for some bugs, including ticks.
Stay safe and active,
Anne Maurice
