The sun came out when the Walkers reached Chandler Brook on the Elmwood Trail last week. The trail was in good shape and is a fun one to walk.
Our next trek will take us to Pineland Public Reserved Lands on Wednesday, May 28. Let’s meet at the trailhead on Depot Road, New Gloucester, at 10 am. For more information and directions visit Maine Trail Finder, Pineland Public Reserved Lands. We will walk the trail that goes down to the Royal River. There will be some downhill and uphill walking along the way.
Please come prepared for the weather, the walking conditions and Maine spring bugs.
