We had a beautiful walk on the Shaker property last week and enjoyed the cascades and views of Sabbathday Lake.
Our next walk is on Wednesday, August 9, at 10 am on the Oak Hill Trail at Pineland. Let’s meet at the parking lot near the Conference Center, bldg. 19 – brick building facing Route 231/Intervale Road. You can find the Pineland map on the visitor’s guide here.
We decided to have a picnic in the Pineland garden after our walk on the 9th. The garden will be pretty this time of year. If you can join us, bring a lunch or pick up something at the market.
Come prepared for walking on a fairly easy surface in the woods.
