Twelve walkers showed up to make last week’s trek on Tobey and Cider Mill Roads. The downhill slope was and easy walk but the uphill return certainly got our heart rates up. We appreciated another out of the way New Gloucester Road for a safe and very low-traffic walk.
We are going to try a new adventure this week. Let’s meet at the intersection of Swamp Road and Long Bennett Road in New Gloucester at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 9th. Parking will be on the side of Long Bennett Road. Tom, one of our walkers, will lead us to The Sinkhole. He described the path as fairly flat on gravel ground. It is best to get to the intersection from Long Bennett Road, not Swamp Road.
Please come prepared for the weather and walking terrain.
