Last Wednesday was a bust so let’s try Quarry Road again this week. I walked it today and there is no snow or ice, just a soft dirt roadway. If for some reason, the road is too soft to walk on Wednesday, we can try the paved road that goes through Shaker Village.
On Wed, March 6, 10 a.m. we will meet at Quarry Road in New Gloucester which is currently closed until after mud season. There is plenty of room to park once you turn onto the road from Rt. 26. The road is directly across from Outlet Road at the Rt. 26 intersection.
It’s hard to tell how to dress these days, however, good footwear is always important.
