Last Wednesday’s walk was much more navigable on the roads of Pineland. We had a good turnout and lots of lively conversations along the way.
On Wednesday March 23, 10 a.m., we will walk Quarry Road which borders Shaker land on the west side of Route 26. It’s a dirt road and is currently closed so the walking will be easy and safe. You can park on the sides of Quarry Road or on the other side of Route 26 where old 26 deadends near the bog.
Please wear the proper footwear and use gear as warranted by the current spring conditions.
