Walk at Thayer Brook Preserve on Nov. 9th

The walk last week at Intervale Preserve explored the Lower Village and Interurban in New Gloucester. Our wonderful trail guide, Julie Fralich, highlighted the improvements and expansions to the trail system. Walkers (20 in all) shuffled the leaves as they walked the trail, commenting on how the sound of walking on leaves is a special part of fall in Maine.

Our next walk will take us to Thayer Brook Preserve.  We will be accessing the trailhead via the Libby Hill parking area, across the street from Gray-NG Middle School, 50 Libby Hill Road.

See details about Thayer Brook Preserve here: Libby Hill-Thayer Brook Preserve. We hope you can join us Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 10 am. Please wear the proper footwear for damp leaves and bright apparel is good practice during hunting season.
