UPDATE: Due to the impending storm, the walk at Pineland planned for Wednesday, January 10, will be postponed to January 17.
Ten of us enjoyed a brisk three-plus mile hike on Libby Hill last week. We meandered on a few different trails and laughed about our wandering adventure. Conditions were good and we all were happy to be outdoors for an hour or so.
We decided to go to Pineland this week since it looked like winter was forecasted to finally arrive. That site gives us options for walking paths. We will meet at the Conference Center parking lot. You can find the Pineland map here. Currently the long-range weather view is for rain – we will see.
Ice grippers and walking sticks come in handy for the weather and trail conditions.
