Vehicle damage at Fairgrounds

| Morgan Rocheleau, NG Parks and recreation director |

Sadly, we have to share some bad news. Last night we had some damage to our Fairgrounds Park. An individual chose to tear up the grass and parking area around the Pavilion. In an effort to discourage this behavior in our community, we will be closing the gate to the Fairgrounds Park as of today (June 10th, 2020).

As we begin to resume organized activities within the park and fields, we will look to opening the gate as normal again in the near future. In the meantime, the parking area at the entrance of the park is available for visitors. We encourage the community to continue to use the track and green space as an outlet for exercise and leisure during these difficult times.

Thank you for understanding as we try to protect this wonderful space within New Gloucester.
