Upper Village multi-unit project to return to Planning Board Dec. 6

Five Maples, LLC, will be back at the Planning Board on Tuesday to review its plans for an Airbnb-type venture in the Upper Village.  Five Maples proposes to convert and renovate a single-family dwelling at 52 Peacock Hill Road into four units for short-term rentals.  Its 5.5-acre parcel, between Route 100 and Peacock Hill Road and next to the Post Office, is in the Upper Village zone (Map 19 Lot 26).

The December 6 meeting will be Five Maples’ second appearance before the board. At a meeting in early November, Five Maples’ Matt Ray was asked for a more detailed site plan and other information.  Ray has since submitted an updated sketch:

The December 6 Planning Board meeting will convene at the Meetinghouse at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on local cable and live-streamed on Town Hall Streams at this link
