More blue sky and sunshine for the group last week. Nine of us took advantage of the well plowed, safe roads for walking at the Poland Preservation Park. We marveled at the glistening white winter day with the view of the NH mountains in the distance.
We will hike a trail at Libby Hill on Wednesday, February 26, at 10 a.m. Let’s start from the Libby Hill Forest parking area at 50 Libby Hill Road in Gray across from the GNG Middle School. You can find information here. Like last week, this location will give us options depending on the conditions on Wednesday.
Please dress for the weather and the walking conditions. Ice grippers, snowshoes and/or walking sticks can come in handy.
