Trail walk Wednesday Aug. 7 Poland Spring Preservation Park

Wednesday Walkers in Bradbury Mountain State Park

Eight walkers explored the Knight Woods Trail at Bradbury Mountain State Park last week.  It’s a wide, gentle wooded trail on the Park’s campground side of Route 9.  Many of us were new to the trek and agreed it adds another choice to our list of trails.

On Wednesday, August 7th, we will meet at 10 a.m. to walk one of the trails at the Poland Spring Preservation Park.   The address is 37 Preservation Way, Poland Spring, ME.  Turning off from Route 26 in Poland for the Poland Spring Inn, go up the hill towards the Inn and keep going past the chapel on your right and under the iron gate at the top of the hill.  Proceed down the hill to the parking lot on the right where the trails sign stands.  There is information about the trails here.

This hike is in the woods and does have some inclines.  Please come prepared for the walking conditions and the weather.

Stay active and safe.
