Happy Memorial Day,
We had a pleasant hike on the Oak Hill Trail at Pineland last week. Thirteen walkers enjoyed the morning and each other’s company.
Our next walk is on Wednesday, May 31st, at 10 a.m. and will be at Thayer Brook, 92 Ramsdell Road in Gray. Thayer Brook Preserve is 147 acres owned and managed by Royal River Conservation Trust and connects to the Libby Hill trail network. Linda recently scouted the area and let us know there is now ample parking and the trail is well marked. You can find a map here.
Come prepared for walking in the woods where there will be roots and loose leaves on the trail. Be prepared for bugs, including ticks as well.
