Our numbers have been smaller the last couple of weeks as folks head into summer and working on their gardens. We had an enthusiastic group of walkers who enjoyed being in the woods and the ups and downs of the trail as we hiked to the Royal River starting from the Pineland Public Reserve Land kiosk. I was surprised by how low the water level was in the river.
We decided to go back to Talking Brook Public Land for our next walk. With the recent rains, the brook should be flowing vigorously. We will meet on Wednesday, June 4th, at 10 a.m. at the new parking area at the corner of Woodman Road and Meadow Lane in New Gloucester. FMI visit Talking Brook Public Land.
