We had a good walk at Knight’s Pond Preserve last week. It’s a varied trail with a bird habitat and a beaver dam as well as an easy-grade woods walking trek.
We will walk the one-mile round-trip trail at the Shaker Bog on Wed, July 26, 10 a.m. The access is from Route 26 (Maine Street) just north of the Outlet Road/Quarry Road intersection. Parking is very limited off Route 26 so I’m suggesting to park on the dead end section of Shaker Road. We can cross the road from there. More information can be found here.
