Trail walk at Poland Spring Preservation Park Wed. June 14

Wednesday Walkers at Shaker Woods

A large group of walkers (21!) enjoyed the Shaker Woods hike last week – I’m so glad there are lots of walkers in our area.  It’s fun meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors together.

The group decided to go to the Poland Springs trails for our walk on Wednesday June 14, 10 a.m.  We will meet at the Poland Spring Preservation Park parking lot, across from the Poland Spring Bottling Museum.  The address is 37 Preservation Way, Poland Spring, ME.  Turning off from Route 26 in Poland for the Poland Spring Inn, go up the hill towards the inn and keep going past the chapel on your right and under the iron gate at the top of the hill.  Proceed down the hill to the parking lot on the right.   We will assess the walking conditions that morning to determine where best to walk.

Hopefully it will be drier this week… Dress for the weather and for trail walking terrain.

Stay safe and keep active,
Anne Maurice
