Seven of us braved the drizzly weather last week and took a good walk around the Poland Spring Resort. The woods were too wet and slippery so we opted to stay on the road where we met very little traffic. We enjoyed discussing the history of the area and looking at the Maine State Building and the Chapel along the way.
We will go to Pineland on Wednesday, Nov. 6th, 10 a.m. The weather will determine if we head into the woods or stay on the roads. Please meet at the parking lot area near the Conference Center, building #19 on the map – brick building facing Route 231/Intervale Road. Check out the Pineland Farms campus map.
Please come prepared for the weather and walking conditions.
