Update: The October 26 trail walk is postponed due to weather. We’ll plan on the same walk for next week, November 2.
Please plan to park along the shoulders of Church Road. (Please don’t park crowding the intersection or in the church lot.) We’ll meet up at the trailhead next to 20 Gloucester Hill Road, across from the Congregational Church.
We had another good turnout for our fall walk at Pisgah Hill Preserve. Big thanks to Terry DeWan who led us through an adjacent trail on his property first, and we finished by summiting Pisgah Hill. The terrain was damp and full of leaves, but as the sun peeked through the tall trees, we enjoyed some of the last colors of fall.
We decided to go the Intervale Preserve October 26th at 10 a.m. Please plan to park along the shoulders of Church Road, and meet up at the trailhead next to the Fralichs’, 20 Gloucester Hill Road, across from the Congregational Church. You can find a description of the Preserve here.
It’s time to be prepared for trail terrain with damp leaves and roots along the way. Wearing orange this time of year is a good practice.
Stay safe and keep walking.
