A big group enjoyed the Thayer Brook trail last week. The day was pretty, the trail mostly dry, and the comradery was evident throughout. A couple of new people joined this week and it is always great to observe people start out chatting with a person or two and come back chatting with different folks.
We are heading to Bradbury Mountain State Park on Wednesday, April 30, at 10 a.m., to hike to the top and hopefully see hawks. A couple of our regular walkers saw many birds on a recent hike. We will meet in the parking lot located to the right after you enter the park. You can find more information here. The GPS address is 528 Hallowell Road, Pownal.
Please come prepared for the weather and the trail which will have some rocks and roots.
Stay active and safe,
Anne Maurice
