Join the New Gloucester ECDC in a tour of Unity Environmental University at Pineland Farms this Thursday, October 3, from 4:30 to 6 pm.
Unity at Pineland offers flexible and affordable in-person Bachelor of Science degree programs in:
- Aquaculture and Marine Sustainability
- Business Administration in Regenerative Tourism
- Conservation Law Enforcement
- Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation Management
- Wildlife Care and Rehabilitation
These fields all have “bright” career outlooks of 9% or higher growth. Available jobs include Fish and Wildlife Biologist, Park Ranger, Tour Guide, Zoologist, Water Resource Specialist, Hunting Worker, Sustainability Specialist, and Animal Trainer.
Unity partners with businesses to build a skilled and relevant workforce. Paid internships and apprenticeships for Unity students help create a solid pipeline of employees with hands-on experience. Unity will customize coursework to meet employer needs.
This event offers local businesses, residents, educators and students a chance to see Unity’s facilities, learn how the program works, and ask the Unity President and staff questions about anything.
