Learn more about the MSAD 15 school bond projects tonight, Tuesday, October 22, at public meetings at GNG High School, 10 Libby Hill Road in Gray.
— at 6 pm public tours will be available of the spaces and places slated for renovation at the High School, including the cafetorium, kitchen, stage and gym.
— At 6:30 pm the School Board will hold a public hearing in the High School’s cafetorium for residents to ask questions and offer comments.
The public hearing is an official meeting and will be organized around the three questions on the ballot, as required. The District provides details on its SAD15 Air Quality Grant and Capitol Improvement Bond 2024 Info page on Facebook:
“Prior to a bond referendum it is required to have a public hearing in which each bond issue question is read aloud. This event will provide both time for community members to tour areas of interest at the high school, get more information on the bond questions, and/or participate in the public hearing.”
“Tours will take place at 6 pm, at which time visitors may also look at proposed plans and ask questions.”
“At 6:30 pm there will be a brief presentation including updated projected tax implications. The hearing will then include a recitation of each question and allow for public question and comment.”
