
New Gloucester’s annual town meeting is Monday, May 5, at 7 p.m. at Memorial School, 86 Intervale Road.
Voter check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. If they haven’t already, residents can register to vote at the meeting.
The 2025 warrant includes some $7.5 million in FY26 municipal budget items – a mix of operating expenses, capital projects and deposits into reserves, debt payments, paving/chip seal work, and more.
Among items voters will consider is funding for a radio system upgrade for Fire Rescue and Public Works, for the Fairgrounds bathrooms project and for Upper Village planning, as well as the question whether to retain the town’s former ambulance as a back-up.
