Join Shaker Village for our end-of-season Fall Harvest Festival! This family-friendly FREE event is now a tradition for many folks– come make it yours, too!

Yes, a Monday holiday! Kids have the day off and hopefully you do, too! Make a family fun day tradition and come on out– fun for kids of all ages! Join us for our final full-day of the Season as we finish with a party for the community!

– Animals: FREE — Visit the Shakers’ flock of over 70 sheep; 4 Scottish Highland cows; barn cats; and live observation beehive. Plus, In-Between Farm will be bringing the kids– their goats, that is! Say hi to Willie and Waylon. Learn about helping animals in our community with Friends of Feral Felines & Misfits Rehab.
– Demonstrations: FREE — Letterpress Printing with Grant House Press (& print your own souvenir); Pottery wheel throwing w/Versatile Vessels; Blacksmith forge w/Maple Iron Forge; Fresh Herbal Garden Tea; Broom making w/Redmond Philbert Handwork; old-fashioned tin type photos w/Cole Caswell
– Tours: FREE — Barn tours with Brother Arnold; Herb Garden taste & tour with Tyler; Herb House tours with Jamie
– Wagon Rides: FREE — Hop on to the hay wagon driven by Michael and take a free narrated tour of Shaker Village with Chris who’ll throw in a little singing, too! The wagon ride will drop you off in the Shaker Herb Garden for a taste & tour and then pick you back up later for a ride back to the barn.
– Face Painting: FREE — All ages are encouraged to get their faces (or hands) painted!
– Pumpkin Painting: FREE — Explore our Pum’kin Patch and pick the perfect pumpkin to paint & take home with you.
– Apple Cider Pressing: FREE— Purchase a bag of Shaker apples and we will help you press it into fresh cider to take home!
– Live Music: FREE — The family band, Albert Price and the Pseudonyms, are back to get your stepping to some upbeat bluegrass music
– Lawn Games: FREE — Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Giant Bubbles, Ladderball, & more.
– Museum Tours, Museum Store, and Shaker Store will be open
