The latest draft schedule for the Charter Commission is here. If you are looking to offer public comment at a meeting, the schedule indicates what topics we will discuss at a particular meeting. Please also note that, while most of our meetings begin at 7 PM, the meetings on October 25 and November 22 will begin at 6 PM.
The New Gloucester Charter Commission is holding three Informational Workshops* for the public to learn about town government, with Q&A and discussion:
o October 20, 2021, 7–8 PM, via Zoom, accessed at www.newgloucester.com – learn about and discuss Town Meeting.
o November 3, 2021, 7–8 PM, at the Meetinghouse – learn about and discuss town manager and budget.
o November 17, 2021, 7–8 PM, at the Meetinghouse – learn about and discuss Select Board/Town Council.
*Please note that we will not be accepting public comment at these purely informational workshops.
