The New Gloucester Community Fair Committee has been working hard to plan the fair to be held on Saturday August 21 from 9 am to 3 pm. We are looking for volunteers and civic, school, and/or religious groups that would like to help with the fair and be able to raise funds in exchange for their help.
We have great things planned: food trucks, live band, paddle board rentals and demonstrations, a roaming magician, antler toss, animals, games, and much more! We need volunteers to fill 2-hour blocks on the day of the fair. We are also looking for civic groups to help with certain areas of the fair like clean-up, manning the dunk tank, staffing the information booth, handing out flyers, and more. The fair committee will make a donation to your organization depending on the task, or you can have the proceeds from the fundraiser like the dunk tank.
We are hoping to draw close to 2000 people this year. In 2019 it was a great event. Does your group want to join us? We are also looking for groups or organizations that want to promote their cause.
