Dear New Gloucester community members,
Thank you, thank you and thank you again for the outpouring of generosity shown to the New Gloucester food pantry. We asked and you delivered:
• Over 120 rolls of toilet paper
• 45 quick bread muffin mix
• 25 jars of jam/jelly
• 40 cans of baked beans
• 12 boxes of stuffing
• 15 bags/cans of coffee
• 20 boxes of crackers
• 15 packages of hot chocolate
• 30 boxes of instant potatoes
• 7 pancake mix & syrup
• 15 tubes of toothpaste
• several miscellaneous bags of nonperishable items, and
• several put together kits with toiletry items.
Many thanks to Emily and Jay at the New Gloucester library for providing a public, easily accessible drop off location and they have graciously offered that we continue through 2023!
Many blessings to the volunteers at the NGXchange, a volunteer-powered, free and independent news source for the New Gloucester community for distributing our call for food.
We will have a monthly theme of our needed food items. For January our need is for baked beans and instant potatoes. Watch the NGXchange for our need of the upcoming months food items.
May you be warm, healthy and surrounded by loved ones this holiday season.
Peace & Joy,
Erin Pendexter Stone
