Supporting Aging Communities in Maine | Free webinar Thurs. Sept. 23

A panel of experts will present a free webinar on Thursday September 23 from noon to 1 pm on practical tools and strategies for Maine communities to better support older residents.

The topic has special significance for New Gloucester, as the town’s new comprehensive plan includes goals and next steps for creating and actively supporting an age-friendly community.

Featured speakers at the “Supporting Aging Communities in Maine” webinar include Mary Lou Ciolfi of the UMaine Center on Aging; Nate Rudy, Gray town manager and board member of the Maine Council on Aging; Jess Maurer, executive director of the Maine Council on Aging; and Elizabeth Gattine, a Muskie School of Public Service policy specialist on disability and aging.
