‘Tis the season. The Select Board will meet tonight to consider the posting of roads against heavy loads. (The weight limit is 23,000 pounds.)
It appears the board will discuss two options. They would authorize the town manager and public works director to confer as needed over some 40 roads–paved and gravel–and decide which to post, when.

Tonight’s Emergency Meeting will be held at the Meetinghouse and precede a previously scheduled board workshop. The back-to-back sessions will be broadcast on NGTV and live-streamed on Town Hall Streams at this link.
