Select board September 20 agenda

Items related to the Upper Village top a lengthy agenda for the select board on Monday September 20. The board will convene at the Meetinghouse at 7 pm. The meeting will be live-streamed on Town Hall Streams at this link and broadcast on local cable channels 3 and 1302.

The board will hear a presentation from former town manager and town planner Paul First about the Upper Village Master Plan and possible next steps with town-owned buildings and land there. A memo from First, included in the meeting packet, includes an overview of the Upper Village plan and recommendations for next steps and future needs. Also on the agenda, the board will consider a draft request for bids to demolish and remove the former public works building in the Upper Village.

  • A possible timeline and parameters for the FY22-23 budget and capital improvement program process
  • Opening and review of law firms’ proposals to provide legal services to the town
  • A presentation by Parks and Recreation director Sarah Rodriguez on the Kids Club program
  • Safety and signage in the Lower Village
  • Possible new recycling programs at the Transfer Station
