The board returns to their usual biweekly schedule on June 7, following observance of Memorial Day last Monday. They will take up a mix of first-time and return-visit items at 7 pm on Zoom.
Among items on the agenda:
- a recommendation to change the Deputy Public Works Director position to that of Public Works Foreman
- an update regarding the Town of Lisbon’s interest in dismantling and re-using the salt and sand shed at the old Public Works building in the Upper Village
- an update regarding current Transfer Station recycling practices and associated costs and revenues
- a proposal to modify the current application for appointment to boards and committees to ask applicants to authorize a background check, where appropriate (e.g., working with children, working with funds)
- an update on the deeds, background, and assessed value of two Town-owned ‘town forest’ parcels, Map 0013-12 and 0013-10 that abutter Richard McCann has offered to buy
- a new flag pole to be located near the new (rear) entrance of Town Hall.
