Permanent bathrooms at the Fairgrounds are likely to be a step closer to reality after the Select Board’s July 1 meeting, when the board is slated to review draft bid documents for a septic system for the project.
The board will also take up next steps toward a public sale of a tax-acquired property at 1173 Lewiston Road and consider Public Works Director Ted Shane’s recommendations for purchasing a new Public Works loader and a dump truck and sanding and plow gear. The board will also open a dump truck body/sanding and plow gear bid not included with others opened on June 17. Read bid analyses for the new vehicles and for awarding paving and chip seal work for FY25 at pp. 24-28 of the agenda packet.
Setting up a workshop to review the Town’s purchasing policy, last updated in 2020, is also on the agenda. Read the current policy at pp. 41-44. Find the full July 1, 2024, agenda and related documents at this link.
The meeting will convene at 7 p.m. at the Meetinghouse and will be live-streamed at this link.
