The select board will convene at the Meetinghouse on Monday August 2 at 7 pm. The meeting will be live-streamed on Town Hall Streams at this link and broadcast on local cable channels 3 and 1302.
Among items on the August 2 agenda:
- an update from Parks and Rec director Sarah Rodriguez about recent programming, revenues and expenses, and whether Kids Club accounts should be switched from the current enterprise fund to a special revenue account;
- bid opening for tree-cutting along Town Farm Road prior to paving;
- award of contracts to purchase a dump truck and associated plow and sander gear for Public Works;
- a proposal from Fire Rescue for tuition assistance to support NGFR members’ professional development, increased skills and credentials;
- whether to schedule a possible workshop on the composition and roles of town boards and committees and the role of select board liaisons;
- whether to solicit proposals from law firms to provide legal services to the town.
