The Gray-New Gloucester/Raymond Little League fell to a team from Seattle in Game 6 of the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
Washington defeated Maine, 10-0. Maine will play again on Saturday, Aug. 19.
“Sure, they’re sad they didn’t win the game, but we remind them — look at this field. The possibility of playing on a field this nice again is very slim. Making it again is very slim. It could still happen to some of these kid. But to enjoy playing on this baseball field, and being here in Williamsport — We continue to remind them of that. They really do — there so happy to be here,” Manager Brad Shelley said after the game.Play Video
Maine is representing New England for the first time since Westbrook won the New England Division Title in 2005.

The Gray-New Gloucester/Raymond Little League team defeated Canton, Massachusetts, last Thursday 2-1, securing their spot to Pennsylvania.
The New England Regional Champions will represent the area by hitting the diamond for their first game at 3 p.m.
