Record a video thank-you to Sue Hawkins Saturday Feb. 13 & 20!

| Tim Terranova, for the New Gloucester Library Trustees |

As many people have heard, the New Gloucester Public Library will be reopening shortly with a new library director.  The trustees would like to show their appreciation to Sue Hawkins who served as librarian for 38 years and became an unforgettable part of the New Gloucester Community.  Due to the pandemic we have been unable to give her the sendoff she deserves, but we want to give everyone a chance to say goodbye.

From 10am to noon the following two Saturdays, February  13th and 20th (weather permitting), we invite people to come to the library and say goodbye in a safe, socially distant manner.  Sue will not be there, but the Cable TV Committee has graciously agreed to record and edit well wishes from the community.  We will then present Sue with a recording. We will also collect cards for Sue if you would like to drop one off during that time.

Please join the trustees in saying goodbye to Sue and wishing her the best as she starts a new chapter in her life.  We look forward to seeing you at the recordings.
