The Planning Board will convene a public hearing on Tuesday, April 15, to take comment on a proposed additional six-lot plan from Oz Associates for its existing subdivision near Oz Drive, off Sabbathday Road and Mayall Road. The project is located in the Residential Commercial District and Groundwater Protection Overlay zone (Map 2 Lots 36-3 and 36-4).
The public hearing, postponed from April 1, begins at 7 p.m. at the Meetinghouse and will be live-streamed at this link. The Planning Board’s consideration of the application and other businesswill immediately follow.
Among open questions for the project is the calculation of net residential acreage – that is, the proportion of the acreage that is considered buildable after deducting steep slopes, areas of poor soils, filled wetlands and more, perhaps including actual wetlands. That in turn affects how many lots can be built.
A detailed memorandum by Shukria Wiar, the town’s Interim Planner from GPCOG, lays out the issues and status, along with updated submissions from the applicant in the meeting agenda packet at this link.
