Shaker Village is open

The Shaker Museum, Shaker Store, grounds, and their Museum Shop are now open through Monday, Oct. 14. Hours and days are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. They’re closed on Sundays, but the Shakers hold their Sunday Meeting (church service), which is open to the public, inside the Brick Dwelling House at 10 a.m. sharp.

Guided tours leave their Visitors’ Center throughout the day and tickets are available in-person upon arrival. Options include a one-hour guided tour inside two buildings and special exhibit $15 adult, under 18 free; a special exhibit only “Creating Chosen Land” with docent $7 adult, under 18 free; a self-guided walking tour for free that includes a brochure map with the history of each building.
