A FREE virtual course with GNG Guidance Counselors, Tuesdays at 6 pm from Feb. 23 to March 23.
Are the demands that have been placed on you by remote and hybrid learning leaving you feeling overwhelmed?
Have you wondered what expectations are developmentally appropriate for your child as we navigate these challenging schedules?
The goal of this 5-Week group is to provide the opportunity for parents of Gray-New Gloucester Pre K thru 4th grade students to connect with each other, support each other, learn from each other, and reassure each other that you are not alone. We hope to explore parent struggles, worries, and successes in a safe group setting.
- Katie Banks, guidance counselor
- Abby Beaumont, LCSW and guidance counselor
- Lauri Traina, LCSW
The course is offered through Gray-New Gloucester Adult & Community Education
— Hat tip to Sam Pfeifle (on Facebook as ‘Sam Pfeifle, Member, GNG School Board’). Sam’s post adds: “The class is FREE, and these licensed social workers and guidance counselors have deep experience in getting kids in the right head space to be productive, independent, and on-task. Take advantage of this and help spread the word!”
