Sparks are flying in Tony Stanley’s outdoor workshop in New Gloucester. He picked up his passion for blacksmithing during the pandemic and hasn’t put the hammer down since, bending and banging steel into hooks, fire pokers, and commissioned pieces for customers.
“It requires a lot of focus — for a second, you can’t take your mind off of what you are doing,” Stanley explains.
Stanley’s “Forged by Thor” brand and products are gaining popularity online and have grabbed the attention of a group down the street from his workshop: Shaker Village. . . . Keep reading
